Choosing your First Dance ​

I've been a #WeddingCeremonySinger and a #OneManBand in Ireland .
I'd like to share with you some great ideas for your first dance.

A Song that means something to you both 
For your first dance as a married couple, choose a song that means something to you both,
It might be the song that was current when you first met and that you both enjoyed on the radio in the car,

Get Everyone on The Floor
Your first dance is the opportune moment to gather everyone around you on the dance floor
The song that follows is a great chance to get everyone on the floor dancing,
Good Bands will know how to do this.

Traditions 
It's often good to invite the father of the bride to dance with his daughter,
Along with the mother of the bride to dance with the groom.
Then I'd invite everyone on the floor for an upbeat song.

Can the band play It ?
Some bands will learn the song for you if it's not on their list.
However there are some songs that may not fit easily with your band's style.
If you really need a special song and your band can't play it....
Play the Mp3 through the bands sound system,

Keeping the Dance floor Full
If you want to keep the dance floor full all night ?
I know how to read the crowd,
As a one man band ...
